I like dumplings but not with suet. I usually use butter but somewhere in the back of my mind I remember AWT making them with olive oil.
I found the recipe and they are now in my stew rising well
For the Dumplings:
250g/9oz plain flour
1 tsp salt
2tsp baking powder
30ml/1fl oz/2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp freshly chopped flat leaf parsley
4 tbsp freshly chopped chives
150ml/¼pt milk
