I thought it was because gammon was always thicker than ham.
Talking off which I had some lovely Wiltshire ham at the pub today.Bye

Is the temperature really the difference? I'm sure I have eaten warm ham in a pub. I thought it was something to do with what part of the pig and how it was prepared.pjh75
