With the longer evenings nearly in sight, we are hoping to spend most of them either on the allotment or in the garden.. Id like to utilise my slow cooker more - put stuff in before work - so I dont have to spend (ie waste! ) valuable gardening time in the kitchen! We do a kick-ass bean soup/stew, but has anyone got any more - pref veggie - ideas please?

I can recommend the slow cooker book by (not sure of the first name might be Caroline) Atkinson (Ill check when I'm next in the vicinity of the kitchen! It is a great book and has really opened up cooking for us with the slow cooker.~
