Inspired by the various leek containing recipes on here but not one to "follow" a recipe I made a soup to finish off the last of last years crop - our leeks!
I used;
5/6 spuds
10 leeks
5 sticks celery
salt & pepper to taste
dash sherry (most went in my mouth )
dash balsalmic vingegar - ask me about my obsession with this later!
tablespoon mustard
around 4 pints water
tub of elmlea cream - added at very end
two teaspoons of cornflour - cos I made it too watery!
About to serve it now - wish me luck!!! Will be back later to let you know how it went down!
