I've been playing with my ice cream machine (first time since last summer) Strawberry is easiest. 12 oz strawberries (weight after hulling) 3 oz sugar (dissolved in as little water as possible) 4fl oz double cream. Mash the starwberries with the sugar, mix with the cream, put in the ice-cream machine and switch on. follow however your machine says it should be used. If you haven't got a machine WHIP the cream first, then put in a shallow container and freeze for a while until definitely starting to freeze (10 mins to 25 mins, depending how fast your freezer freezes), then transfer to a bowl and beat. Repeat this with similar freezing times until well frozen (probably 3 times). I've made a few other flavours too......
