Have got to go to a meeting later today, so thought I would take it a bit easy today.
Still went off down to the plots to open up the greenhouse and tunnel, did a bit of watering.
I could not bring home the onions I had plaited yesterday as trying to carry them and kep the dog on his lead yesterday was a bit too much, especially as I have to go up hill to the car.
So bought home 4 plaits of onions and a sack of the ones that the necks were not right for plaiting.
Hung the plaits in the storeroom and OH wanted to know why we had a sack on the floor.
So cut up enough onions to fill her dehydrator and set that going.
Then have cut up and sweated all the rest. As soon as they cool enough, I will take the peas and diced carrots out of the freezer and make up casserole packs ready to go back in the freezer.
As I had onions in the frying pan already, last few I cooked on till caramalised, put on top of toast, seasoned, added some cheese and grilled them off. Lunch sorted then.
