I can't see what would be wrong with it Beki. If you know it has been under good, hygienic conditions and you haven't contaminated it, the bring it to the boil for 3 minutes and eat it. You'll be fine. Enjoy.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Will it be ok to reheat today and eat? Or should i bin it?
Bring it to the boil again, and if it smells OK, it is OK. That sort of soup will get a funny smell if there is anything wrong with it.

                  Beki

If you are still ok, please let us know. I want to know which message to send - ok I'l send both!

If Beki has puked her head off all night then I say - "Told you so"

If Beki is (and I asm sure she is just not up yet cos of pigging out yesterday!) OK the I say - I have learnt my lesson and will not be so wasteful or encourage anyone else to be so wasteful with their food ever again. Just goes to show that my Mum isnt always right and maybe she is wrong that I shouldnt try for baby no. 3!

I'm sure Beki is fine. The rule is not to refreeze anything after it's been defrosted and all of the ice-crystals are gone. Refrigeration should be okay within the normal limits after defrosting.

I feel sorry for the 3 chooks, 2 goats, 1 pony, 1 dog, 2 geese, 18 wild ducks, 3 veg plots, 2 kids and the OH - who is gonna feed them now?

If it is brought to the boil for a short while, and fast cooled, then it can be refrozen. It might not taste as good (veggies don't take kindly to such treatment), but it won't do you any harm. Anything that is frozen must be cooked as many times as it was frozen (I sometimes buy 'reduced for quick sale' seafood that has been frozen, and need to freeze it when I get it home, but I only ever use it in cooked dishes, VERY WELL cooked! I've had some great prawn curries from such origins).
