Making a double batch tonight along with a pot of High Dumpsy Dearie Jam. I don#'t see how cooks stand up for so long at a time. I'm drinking medicinal port for the lower lumbar and foot pain! Thought I'd update the conversion above as just found out that fluid ounces convert to millilitres. There is a minute difference in the numbers but I guess important to note since one uses measuring cups and not a scale for millilitres.

1 Imperial fluid ounce = 28.4130742 millilitres

Flum I forgot to say I made this when home on leave. I ate some straight out of the oven (couldnt resist) and then ate the other half a week later. Absolutely gorgeous.

It's a wonder you didn't burn your fingers! It does improve with keeping a bit though. Glad you enjoyed it.
