I've not made ice cream for years but strangely enough I was looking at this recipe the other day with a view to having a go.
its not got fruit in it, but maybe try the recipe as it is then make a coulis and pour over?( or add some to the mix?)
I have to have sugar free sadly, I do have an ice cream maker up in the loft, must get it out as somewhere there's a book of ice cream and sorbet recipes in my book case.
The only sensible advice I can give is don't add "too much" alcohol as it stops it freezing. I did. Lots and lots of limoncello. It wasn't wasted however. .....still drinkable.
