Cooking tonight (Mk3)

I made the chicken and apricot curry yesterday (Rick Stein recipe) and it was a success. We had it with naan.

Tonight is going to be lamb shank, mashed potato and swede, purple sprouting broccoli (just picked), carrots and gravy. Added a little Yorkshire pudding and roast parsnips to the above.

Risotto with ellie garlic greens and topped with black kale florets. Parsnip chips with a spicy rub on the side.

Lunch today is Celeriac Soup with Seedy bread (Both homemade of course!)

Supper will be Pork Belly Slices, Mash and Cabbage

Sausage, egg and chips.

Lunch: sausage and saffron risotto and salad.
Supper: pea soup.

Bread, biscuits and crackers (that's a bit optimistic...).

Veggie casserole followed by stewed apple and blackberry( found at bottom of freezer dated 2018) with yogurt.

Just making a few pasta bakes, one for us, one for the freezer, and a couple to give away. We'll have it with garlic bread, a small salad and a handful of parmesan cheese.

Spiced roast butternut and parsnips, kale and blue cheese in creamy white sauce.

Salmon and broccoli with a side salad followed by clemontines and live yogurt

Veggie and bean 'cottage' pie with mushy peas and onion gravy.

Lunch: Imam bayildi. Better still would be aubergine parmigiana, but not sure I've got the time for it.
Supper: pea soup.

Yesterday's biscuits are all gone... Lots as gifts, honest. So maybe more today for us. Maybe bread. Definitely crackers, though.

I spotted one of last year’s nettle and barley soups in the freezer - so we’ll be starting with that tonight too
