              • Yesterday was cottage pie, cabbage and gravy.

Today I think it will be barbecue ribs, jacket potatoes, homemade coleslaw and Waldorf salad and and pimientos de Pàdron.

                    • Had a chilli with one Carolina Reaper in 2lb of mince. Added a couple of Aji Lemon Drops later for flavour. We've come to the conclusion that the 'Reapers are extremely efficient chillis!
Location:- Rugby, Warwckshire on Limy clay (within sight of the Cement factory)

                        That's a good description, Mark.

As for us, didn't have the dried fruit compote yesterday but lemon roulade.

Brunch this morning so no lunch. Supper will be lentil soup with leftover roulade.

                        • Made apple muffins with a couple of the cooking apples from the garden. Think I’ll try one for pudding with custard. Having haggis, needs and tatties (Rudolph from the garden)
