  • Supper: roast pork chops with sprouts, cabbage and carrots. Pud: orange.

    (Had brunch today: pea and bacon tortilla, apple for afters. Might stick with brunch rather than lunch for the next wee while. All this weeding is making me hungry in late morning. That's my excuse anyway!)

      • I am just making the base (fish and parsley sauce) layer of my fish pie. Next job mashed potatoes with a handful of capers, and then grated cheese and sliced tomato to top it off. One to go in the oven later and a couple of individual portions to give away. We'll have carrots and peas with ours.
