Cooking tonight (Mk3)

Last night was Kedgeree with Whiting that we smoked ourselves. Yum

Lunch today will be something quick and easy - Probably a mini Pizza or something of that ilk.

Supper will be Toad in the Hole, Cabbage and Carrots.

Banana and yog for pud.

Usually favour-trading to be honest. A man down the valley brings us fresh dairy - yogurts and cheeses - when he goes out. So he usually gets something. Plus, he's on his own a lot as his family is elsewhere, so we walk down with the dogs and often take him something. He's coping well, but must be miserable on his own so much. His wife is with their daughter, helping her look after child, as no room at nurseries or childminders.

Plus, Mr Snoop likes taking them to friends plus to the shop that takes in online deliveries for us, which has been a godsend during lockdown.

Yesterday was beef stew and Yorkshire puddings.

Today more of the stew but I 'll make dumplings to go in it and have it with mashed potato and French beans (out of the freezer) as I've forgotten to pick some purple sprouting broccoli while I was at the allotment. BlackBerry crumble or sponge and cream for afters as the freezers are still full of blackberries (my husband can't bear to pass a bush without picking).

Lunch: salmon and cauliflower cheese
Supper: chicken and veg soup

Supper tonight is Gammon, Goose Egg and Chips

Spicy Hummus and celery followed by lemon asparagus with mushroom and courgette frittata .

Red lentil dhal tonight, with chapattis and salad.

Lunch today is the old faithful cheese and Chutney sandwiches.

Supper will be a wild garlic dal and spring greens

Lunch: pressure cooker pork chop stew. Same stew but with an omelette for Mr Snoop. A bit odd, but a pork chop is beyond him at the moment and they need eating up.
Supper: soup of some variety.

A cross between a stir fry and Asian noodle soup. I’ve got some guinea fowl stock to use up so it should be yummy!

Rhubarb and yogurt jelly for pud.
