Cooking tonight (Mk3)

I think tonight will be pasta bake (back out of the freezer), garlic bread and salad.

Maybe a couple of pancakes with orange and sugar for pudding......my husband has been hinting at them for ages.

Quail with roast parsnip, mashed carrots, sprouts and peas followed by fruit and yog.

^^^Well I had a phone conversation with my sister and she suggested crepes suzettes instead of plain pancakes (neither of us had made or even eaten this before) but the sauce sounded nice so I had a go. I shall not bother again. The taste was fine but sauce + pancakes = soggy. Some left for the birds for breakfast.

Supper will probably be something like fish fingers, chips and peas...

Veggie laksa tonight, with BNS, broad beans and coriander ftf, garlic greens, spiced parsnips and land cress.

Tonight lamb shanks, roast parsnips, mashed potatoes and swede, carrots and peas and gravy.

Trifle.

Courgetti spaghetti with turkey and broccoli in a coconut cream sauce.

Odd, I think my post earlier might have disappeared.

Lunch: leftover aubergine parmigiana, eaten very late.
Supper: not much if anything.

Supper: carrot and coriander soup.

Apricot and walnut cookies for a gift, some for us too, though.
