Cooking tonight (Mk3)

If the weather improves as its supposed to it may be a bbq tonight .

Chicken saltimboccas with peas in the pressure cooker (unsurprisingly!). Lemon rice.

Not much in the way of veg there, so supper had better be green soup or the like (also cooked in a pressure cooker).

Custards (also in a pressure cooker now I come to think of it...).

Lambs liver with fresh sage, gravy, asparagus and chunks of sourdough.

A sort of Thai stir fry with duck and turkey

So absolutely busy yesterday that none of what I planned got done. Try again today...

Yesterday we had mushroom and ham omelette, beer battered potato scallops, a big mixed salad and homemade mayonnaise.

I think tonight will be tagliatelle bolognese (sauce from the freezer), garlic bread and a salad.

Tuna pasta bake this evening.

Going to have a bbq tonight. Well that’s the plan!
We always make enough for at least a couple of days - saves wasting the charcoal

Spag bol with sweet peppers, mushrooms etc (still on our own frozen toms).

Cold chicken and salad. Possibly pommes boulangères with some of the stock from the chicken.

Bread. Haven't made any for days now. Cake tomorrow.

Be a bbq for us

Not got a lot left over from last nights bbq so might chop up some cooked Savoy cabbage and make a sort of hot tumble salad if you know what I mean?
Should be yummy with fresh apple, cooked bbq meats and tomatoes.

rhubarb jelly for pud.

Just seen that the first elderflowers are opening in the garden, so either tomorrow or Monday it'll have to be elderflower pancakes with stewed apple.
