Tarte Tatin

Not a recipe since I do a "bit of this" and "some of that" and bought puff pastry for my tarte Tatin.

There are recipes all over the Internet.

It's a great way to glam up otherwise iffy desert apples.

I love tartes tatin. That looks like a really yummy one, QW. I made an apple crumble today, but a tarte tatin is far more special. Might just have to use up the rest of the apples on one later this week.

Do you 'tatinise' other fruit or even veg? I've read that onion ones are pretty good, especially with a bit of goat's cheese, but I've only ever done fruit.

I’ve only ever done fruit too…but it does sound a great idea to try out a savoury one!

Only done apples. We have a Cornish heritage desert variety, the taste of which is best described as "dull", so needs to be gussied up a bit for eating.
