Cooking tonight (Mk4)

Didn't make cake yesterday, phew.

We have some chicken stock and soup left from last night and a few bendy veg in the fridge. So, tonight will be a veggie casserole followed by a pomello.

Tonight I'm thinking salmon baked with lemon and capers, potatoes dauphinoise, carrots and peas.

I’ve made tomorrow nights supper - spag Bol. Well, the Bol bit at least

The fridge is looking a bit bare so tonight meatballs (back out of the freezer) in a spicy tomato sauce, garlic bread (back out of the freezer) and an avocado, olive, orange and walnut salad.

Mixed veg stir-fry last night with udon noodles and topped with sliced raw bulb fennel that had sat for half an hour in a marinade of toasted sesame oil, flaked sea salt and plenty of lime juice.

Jacket potatoes, with Mackerel, peas and pesto.

Yesterday was a bit of feast for friends on a flying visit: squash and mushroom lasagna, custards, lemon yoghurt cake, sourdough loaf and rolls.

Leftovers today, thank goodness.

Tonight's meal is in the slow cooker. Butternut squash and chicken curry. We'll have it with naan.

Not feeling at all hungry so decided to have a banana butty i.

Spaghetti carbonara with leftover pasta from the lasagna. Plus salad.

Due to a loaf of brick like bread that I'm going to zap into breadcrumbs I think I'll use some up to make pork escalope with jacket potato or jacket sweet potato and homemade coleslaw.

A veggie curry dahl thing. Sweet potatoes, squash, onions, garlic, carrots, peppers, red lentils and chickpeas, garam masala, cumin, stock cubes and turmeric plus some other spices that I can't remember now!
It's yummy!
