Cooking tonight (Mk4)

I've been struggling to think what to make today. I've got nice fresh bread as I set the breadmaker off last night. In the end I've decided on creamy carrot soup with crispy bacon bits (leftover bacon from when I made sandwiches yesterday lunchtime) and garlic croutons for Mr GF. Bread to go with the soup.

Jacket spuds with tuna and sweetcorn and a tomato and cucumber salad.

Fresh fruit for pud.

We have lots of leftover stew so I think we'll have that tonight. I'm trying to decide whether to make suet dumplings or make some shortcrust pastry and make it into a pie ....or even make a suet crust pastry.....
We'll have it with mashed potato and a green veg.

In the end we had the stew yesterday with suet dumplings. There's a couple of leftover dumplings. I'm just going to see if the birds like them.

Tonight I think salmon baked with lemon and capers, potatoes dauphinois, carrots and broccoli.
