I just don't feel hungry today or fancy anything. In the end I've decided on salmon baked with lemon and capers. If we don't eat it all it'll go on a sandwich tomorrow lunchtime, jacket sweet potato and salad.

Cauliflower cheese.

Also some misir wat for the freezer. I'll make a huge pot and hide a cauli in there!

Bread. Got a hankering for a cake this weekend too. There's a layer of chocolate cake in the freezer, but something fruitier seems like a better idea. Hmm... could be time to make that malt loaf. If not today then definitely tomorrow.

Change of plan. Using up fridge leftovers…
Roasted veg but with a goat cheese, tomato and ham quiche followed by a banana and Nutella bread and butter pudding with cream.
I decided I might as well use the hot oven for other things. Hopefully some will make it to the freezer!

Cauliflower something-or-other for lunch. You know the other ten I said would come on song after the current batch? Well... I reckon the cold spell held the current batch back and the very warm days have hurried the second lot along. I now have around 50 kg of cauliflower heads to eat. Never going to happen... I'd have to buy another freezer just to accommodate them.

Malt loaf off. I'd be bound to make two. I never make one loaf of anything. Thought I'd make hot cross buns instead. Still nice, seasonally appropriate, not as much sugar.

Thanks, Bren, I was looking for that thread earlier. For lunch we had this but with cauli, no pork. Pretty delicious, actually.
