At the moment I'm thinking of pasta bake tonight with garlic bread and salad (as long as I go pick some greenery at the allotment).... oh and leftover Waldorf salad from yesterday.Last edited by greenishfing; 29-10-2021, 10:09 AM.

Slight change of plan
Three tray roasts are in the oven but OH said he fancied lasagne so he’s making a mushroom lasagne!
He’s a much better cook than I am so I’m more than happy for him to experiment.

I also decided to make a savoury ‘cake’ first time ever for nibbles pre supper.
not salty enough tbh - probably because the original recipe had more lardons and olives than I had.
Still good with salty butter though!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Apparently you can add almost anything.
I added chopped courgette and tuna as I didn’t have enough lardons and olives. Deffo needed more salt with that exchange.
There are loads of savoury cake recipes out there.
