Cooking tonight (Mk4)

We have a pierrade and raclette machine so it’s a mixture of meats, veg and cheeses and a side salad. We need to cut back drastically after yesterdays indulgence

Just had to Google that. I'm sure Mr GF could turn a meal on that into a cholesterol and calorie laden banquet......given half a chance.

Must add I have added orange jelly with fresh orange segments with cream as a pudding to follow tonight's meal. Guess whose idea that is?

Back on the diet wagon... Loads of veg and a bit of fruit.

Cheese on toast with a mixed fruit pie and custard for afters.

Steak, chips and beans

Followed by fresh fruit or baklava

Prawn, mushroom and broccoli risotto followed by more of the orange jelly and cream.

Tonight, by request of Mr GF, will be chicken and vegetable curry and naan.

Trout fillets cooked with capers, potato scallops, carrots, broccoli and homemade tartare sauce.

Mussels in wine sauce and french fries

I think tonight will be lamb steaks, mashed potatoes, carrots, french beans, beetroot, gravy and mint sauce.

I also need to remember to set the breadmaker off.

Lovely weather so it’s a BBQ!

lamb steaks, belly pork and Toulouse sausages with BBQ courgette dripping in lemon juice and Greek yogurt.

Fresh fruit salad or mixed fruit crumble with ice cream for pud.
