    • Dug a load of volunteer spuds yesterday, so last night - mini (in their skins) roasties cooked with garlic, olive oil, rosemary and sea salt, pigeon breast, beetroot with horseradish and courgettes.

                  That was close just about to press post reply and spotted auto correct changed faggots to maggots.
                  Now added faggots to my dictionary.

                      • The chicken thighs I put to defrost in the fridge last night are still there due to "life" getting in the way.

                        We have just had an ultra quick meal of corned beef and tomato sandwiches and lemon cheesecake.

                            Tumble salad with own lettuce, plus beetroot, orange and shallots with a herb dressing and the star guest being Guinea fowl.

                            There are some lovely recipes on there -healthy and not all are low calorie for those not dieting.

                              • I still have the chicken thighs we were going to have yesterday fully defrosted in the freezer so it will either be chicken curry and naan or an adaptation of this: Summer-in-winter chicken recipe | BBC Good Food
