We have our fruit about 5-ish, today it was grapes, pineapple, then we shared a banana and orange.
Dinner was at 7 it’s just something we’ve always done.

Supper tonight: aubergine parmigiana, with extras for the freezer.

Didn't make the spicy lentils with courgettes, so those. Plus imam bayildi for the freezer. If time, some courgette parmigiana for the freezer, but unlikely.

Veg burgers with pasta, courgettes, mushroom and Stilton.

Homemade beef burgers with our own piccalilli and lettuce.

Tonight I think we'll have salmon baked with lemon and capers, tartare sauce, sweet potato wedges and tomato and avocado salad

Summer vegetable risotto with ham and cheese. Contains tomato, courgette, peppers, onion, runner beans, yellow french beans and turnip, all home grown. I did add some garlic powder (bought). The turnip is a variety called Oasis, which tastes quite different from regular turnip.

Last night we had the left over kebabs- I’d forgotten about those…so it’s homemade burgers instead tonight with a side salad. And nope- OH hasn’t mentioned the ‘chips’ word yet

Last night's sweet potato wedges changed to jacket sweet potatoes....not sure why but a very nice change anyway and they went well with the salmon.

Today chicken, defrosting in the fridge as I write. I think made into goujons with a sage sauce, couscous and roast vegetables.

Famous last words……I went into the kitchen to prepare food and realised the oven was on. What’s that for? Yup - you guessed…..chips
So I ended up making an apple and blueberry crumble to cook at the same time seeing as there was space on there.
