  • I've made pasta bake for tonight, for the freezer and a couple of portions to give away. We've had it with garlic bread, salad and parmesan....mustn't forget the wine too......

                    • Yesterday's chicken goujons went down a treat and are now officially Mr GF's second favourite meal, after prawn risotto. There wasn't a morsel left last night and I think the roast veg were improved by a sprinkle of sumac as well as thyme.

                      I was planning on making quiche or omelette tonight to have with salad and potato scallops but I am suddenly fancying something spicy so my plans are changing to some kind of curry and naan.

                      • A whole heap more veg with a pear for afters. The Conference pears here at the moment are fantastic. Roll on pudding!

                        Edited to add: forgot to say a piece of hake with the veg.

                            • I think tonight will be lamb chops, mint sauce, potato and swede mashed together, carrots, peas and gravy. This has reminded me I need a new mint plant.

                              • More of the same as yesterday, pretty much. Might swap the fish for an egg. Breaking the diet for Easter weekend, though. So watch this space...
