Cooking tonight (Mk4)

Last night turned into a courgette kind of stew. Mr Snoop discovered he'd left loads of tomatoes and figs out of the freezer and they'd thawed. So the toms are now a sauce and Mr Snoop is pretending the somewhat soggy, squidged figs are delicious. Anyway, courgettes in tom sauce with tuna last night.

Hake, green beans and carrots tonight.

Tonight salmon baked with lemon and capers, new potatoes (unfortunately not mine), carrots, broccoli and parsley sauce.

Fish again tonight but with spuds, broccoli and french beans.

Veggie burgers, sauté potatoes with mixed green salad, radishes, homemade humous and pickles.

Courgette and cauliflower jalfrezi.

Pizza dough for Sunday.

Tonight chicken goujons, couscous, roast vegetables and creamy sage sauce. I think I'll go and zap some bread into breadcrumbs next. Thank heavens for food processors. Making breadcrumbs must have been a pain in the "Good old days".

^^^^ my granny used to let old bread dry out thoroughly near her fire then smash it with the rolling pin! Must of made one heck of a mess!

Meatballs and pasta from the freezer. My own little perfect takeaway ….

Ribs in barbecue sauce, garlic bread, onion rings in beer batter, tomato, pesto and mozzarella bake and I think I'll use up the leftover cooked new potatoes to make a potato salad.

Karniyarik - Turkish stuffed aubergines, but beef rather than lamb.

Really would like one of those lemon ring cakes or perhaps a carrot cake. I'd better consult with Mr Snoop.

Resisted making the cake. It would have sat in the freezer all week, crying out to me. So I thought better the ingredients stay in their assorted packets for another day.

Pizza tonight. Slices of orange in a muscovado sugar and rum syrup for pud.
