Guests wanted to go out yesterday for lunch, so in the evening a huge aubergine parmigiana.

Got a couple of small aubergine parmigianas to finish off for the freezer. But also have puff pastry taken out of the freezer to use for Bakewell pud yesterday, which didn't happen. Quiche made with puff pastry? Why not, I guess. Plus salad.

Going to start yet another sourdough starter.

Steak, potato and mushroom pie with French beans, carrots and peas.

Not quite sure as yet….I’m guessing it’s going to be a bit of a running buffet depending on what time we get back from the day out in the camper.
It will include the quiche and Bakewell tart and other things grabbed from the fridge. All rather pastry/ carb based I’m afraid .

Yesterday ended up being a very bland and plain fish pie to soothe my upset stomach.

Today stomach back to normal and I'm going shopping so no idea yet.

I've not been shopping so it's going to be prawn and sweet potato curry with naan.

Just wanted something simple so it was Thai rice with prawns in a spicy tomato and coconut sauce.

Veggie burgers, garden salad with sautéed potatoes.

OH fancies a bbq so we have lamb ribs and belly pork and hallumi to have with our own courgettes and french beans and bought red peppers.
We have several lemons going soft so lemon juice and yogurt slathered on the veggies will lift them nicely.

There should be enough for tomorrow night too! Win win!

I guess it’ll be stewed apple and yog for pud if we have room.

Just made breadcrumbs for chicken goujons. We'll have couscous and roast vegetables with it.... still not been shopping.

Edited: nope to curry, yes to hake baked with assorted veg from plot plus broccoli from the shops (the shame of it...).

Even though I 've been shopping and have lots of new fresh stuff there is some corned beef in the fridge which needs using....so tonight will be corned beef hash with fried eggs on top.
