Veggie burgers with a potato, green bean and tomato salad.

OH has opted for the pastry topping on the beef casserole. Beetroot and our own lettuce as a side salad.

Tonight the beef stew and dumplings we were going to have last night with broccoli.

The last of the sponge cake for afters.

Veggie burgers, with lettuce, land cress, Tom's, a carrot salad and assorted pickles. Plus homemade hummus and carrot sticks.

not many more toms left to ripen.

Beef stew from the freezer...no cooking, just potatoes.

Tonight salmon baked with lemon and capers, jacket potatoes, salad, coleslaw and beetroot I think.

I'll make the last of the meat and gravy from the stew into potted meat for sandwiches too.

Veggie casserole tonight, and probably really spicy - just the weather for something warming!

Bramble tomato soup with toasted cheese sandwiches.

Last nights salmon and jacket potatoes changed to salmon risotto in the end.

This afternoon I am going to roast a gammon joint so tonight gammon, jacket sweet potatoes, coleslaw and beetroot.

A Tuna pasta bake this evening.

Broccoli curry with some hake steamed on top, plus naans and lemon rice.

Apple and mincemeat crumble.
