Toast and butter for supper I imagine (lunch out up the valley).

I used maybe 30 g desiccated coconut instead 70 g of fresh. And next time I'll cook the onions separately rather than adding them to the seeds and coconut. But we all loved it.

The bread is out of the breadmaker now. I'm thinking chicken and vegetable soup cooked in the slow cooker to go with it.

Take out this evening, the last time we had a change of plan after spotting some Cornish pasties in the freezer. Today we’re not getting sidetracked

Tonight is sorted out now. I've got beef and veg stew, casserole....call it what you will...in the slow cooker and I've mixed Yorkshire pudding batter and put it to rest in the fridge.

Slow cooker Brisket with potatoes, parsnips carrots, peas and Yorkshire puddings.

Off up the valley for supper again.

Two loaves of country bread. Plus two curries for the freezer: pea and leek, and broccoli. If I've got time, apple and mincemeat mixture and a bag of crumble mixture for the freezer too.

Tonight I think leftover stew with suet dumplings and some kind of green veg.

I’m fancying a pork roast with all the trimmings.
Not got a joint of pork so chops will have to do.
The last of the mince pies for pud.
