Up the valley for lunch. My contribution: the lemon, polenta and almond cake I was going to make last week.

Supper: broccoli and blue cheese soup.

Just fancying mushroom risotto.
We bought more dried porcini mushrooms recently and by adding a few takes the flavour to a higher level...mmmmm
Plus a lambs lettuce side salad.
Oranges for pud. Fantastically sweet at the moment aren’t they?

Bread.

We're off out for lunch and I'm hoping we won't want anything but a yogurt for supper.

I'm going to roast a chicken today. We'll have roast parsnips, mashed potato, carrots, beans, broccoli and gravy with it.

I may make a couple of banana loaves too as the bananas have now just about ripened.

Lamb, roast potatoes and parsnips with steamed carrots and Kale. Will bake some Yorkshire puds as well.

Busy day ahead so pre-made lasagna and a side salad with fresh oranges for pud.

Lots of chicken leftover from yesterday. I think we'll have some with garlic bread, onion rings in beer batter and tomato, pesto and mozzarella bake.

I haven't made banana bread yet as the bananas still aren't really ripe.

Chicken and mango curry with a side salad.
Left over Blackberry and apple crumble with custard for pud. Yeh…it was an impulse yesterday afternoon!

Another broccoli curry but with the addition of a romanesco. Mr Snoop is campaigning for more baked apples for pud.

Roast gammon, baby potatoes, cauliflower cheese and steamed carrots. Lemon driizzle with custard

Leftovers for today but with frozen french beans instead of kale.
