Friend is doing roast chicken and veg. My contribution to the proceedings is a tarta de Santiago for pud, bread for tomorrow.

A beautiful morning so I'm thinking salad, garlic bread and goujons. I've been trying to decide between chicken or fish goujons. I think I've decided on chicken.

Raspberry buns have just come out of the oven for elevenses.

I've got to come up with lunch soon. And I can barely even think about that, let alone supper.

Hummus, salad and leftover veg for lunch. Supper, no idea.

Start off some sourdough bread too.

I eventually decided that the goujons will be fish as I have leftover tartare sauce to use up and I can use it as a dip for the goujons.

We decided on a bbq. Sausages, onions and peppers, chopped potatoes and asparagus.
Followed by a blueberry tart.

Had mackerel and salad for lunch, then this evening faggots, with mashed potato and mushy peas.

Tortellini Minestrone soup with sourdough.

A soothing, warming soup. The pair of us are feeling proper poorly. Anything more complicated that will be beyond me. Better still if I can find one ready-made in the freezer.

Last night was pork loin steaks, sausage and veg, so today will probably be something on toast or soup.
