We ended up with broad bean risotto with peas last night, as I forgot to take the aubergine parmigiana out the freezer. Which I shall do right now while I'm thinking about it so it's ready for tonight.

I think salmon, new potatoes, broccoli and carrots with homemade tartare sauce.
I also picked up some chicken livers yesterday so I'll make some paté later and put it into little pots. I love it and it's always handy for when we don't want a big meal, or for lunch or supper. I use Delia's recipe and it takes a few minutes to make, freezes very well and tastes delicious.

Our guest has bought us garlic snails in their shells for starters
Followed by mussels in a cream and wine sauce with oven chips made with duck fat and a side salad
