Bread and jam tarts (with any leftover pastry). Might also make a cherry loaf cake. We did very well with the buns, they're only small and one made a nice mid-afternoon treat with a cup of tea. Just have to cut small slices!
Also, a sourdough starter for some pizza swirls. I keep saying I'll make these but still haven't got around to it. Any tips, Nicos? I remember you saying yours weren't baked full in the middle.

Not really, maybe long and slow cook….but that sort of defeats the quick, crisp bases….maybe more loose sworls?
Let me know how yours do….hope they are more successful than mine were. I ended up frying them the next day

We are almost out of space in our three large freezers…I’ve get to freeze the glut of plums and courgette- and gp that’s before the apples are ready…so tonight I’ve delved into the freezer and pulled out fish fingers and bread for butties with a side salad of egg and potato and a bean and tomato salad.
