I had a bacon panino for breakfast yesterday Flo….so delish!
Supper was Ham and tomato butties on the ferry and a sneaky cream cake which jumped into our last minute grory hop!
Tonight is a pepper ( ours), onion,lentil and tomato oven bake with eggs poaching in the sauce.. maybe with a bit of grated cheese on the top to form a fine crust

Last night's meal tasted absolutely amazing for some reason. It was a real meal of leftovers. The leftover braising steak broken up and put in the base of a pie dish with some gravy and veg it was cooked with . Pastry on top. Fried up leftover mash and veg (bubble and squeak) and leftover gravy. It really hit the spot.
I've just given Mr GF choices for tonight...... meat, fish or soup. He's gone for the soup option so I think it will be tomato soup.
We’ve had sweet potatoes topped with homemade pesto, assorted lettuce leaves, toms, spring onions and cucumber for lunch.
This evening cheese and onion pasties with chutney. Followed by jam sponge pud and custard.
That is a tremendous sacrifice, Flo. Very grateful.
But crackling might be an issue. Here, pork (apart from belly) is sold without the skin and I believe wild boar are skinned too. But, doubtless it could be turned into scratchings. Would those do?
I cant remember what the name of this houseplant is but for year and years and years washing and scrubbing the foliage with soapy water with neem oil, peppermint, lavender mix etc over and over and over and over again they are still here !!!!!! Their sticky residue is all over the back of the sofa its...
