OH has a special request to make some more mincemeat baked apples, so it’s that and ice cream for pud.
We’ve discovered an incredible, locally made, Calvados icecream. Oh dear….

We ended up with asparagus risotto yesterday. Time ran out for the pastry for onion tart yesterday, so will try again today.

Today I'll make a fish pie with cod or haddock from the freezer.

Last of the mincemeat tart and brandy cream.

Must have been warmer than I thought in the kitchen last night. I've got the loaves now sitting in their tins for their second rise but unfortunately the dough hadn't doubled in size when I came in to have a look at it, more like quadrupled. Ooops.

Just bought some fresh Ling , so it’s fish, broccoli and winter mash ( mixture of spuds, carrots, squash etc mashed together)

I gave Mr GF a choice of three: Meatballs or fish fingers or curry.

He, rather to my surprise, has picked curry. It will be a prawn and potato curry with naan.

Stewed apple and ice cream.

Eating up the valley tonight. Will make a big pot of carrot and coriander soup for the freezer, though. And more bread.

Just fancying beans on toast with fried eggs. OH has got some bread baking and it smells utterly delish!
Theres also pumpkin soup needing eating up.
Clementines for pud. They are delish at the moment!

OH made some pork and turkey burgers yesterday using a meat grinder he picked up in Lidl last week.
Bit flimsy but it did the trick nicely!
He’s fancying trying one of those too with the meal.
