Got two more loaves of bread about to go in the oven, this time for gifts.

The loaf I made yesterday might do us for beans on toast if I can get away with it... Otherwise asparagus risotto.

Chicken and veg stir fry with basmati rice.
A glass of red with cheese and crackers.
We did dry November so looking forward to my wine after a month.

Tonight was chicken and sweet potato curry with naan😋.

Carrot and onion soup followed by mixed mezze , homemade bread and home grown salad.
Followed by an apple, gooseberry and blackberry crumble with cream

Turkey osso bucco with roasted sweet potatoes. Better get the potatoes roasting sharpish.

Last night was salmon baked with lemon and capers, roasted chunks of sweet potato, creamed leeks, carrots and tartare sauce.

Tonight I'd planned on roasting a small ham joint but as soon as the aroma of fresh bread lured us out of bed this morning Mr GF put in a request for soup.

It will probably be tomato and basil.

Somebody, Nicos, has put the idea of crumble in my head so probably an apple and blackberry one with custard or cream.

I’m just defrosting a boeuf Bourguignon to have with jacket sweet potato and fresh bread.
And yes gf…crumble and cream yummy yum!

More of the same as yesterday.

Got a boned, stuffed chicken ready to roast, but will leave that till tomorrow, I think. Glad I watched someone else do it. They don't half look a mess till you roll them up, when miraculously they suddenly appear all neat and tidy.

Spicy aubergines with rice tonight.

I'll also cook the rolled chicken, though it will probably end up in the freezer afterwards.

I've taken some haggis out of the freezer. We'll have it with mashed potatoes and swede, carrots, peas and creamy gravy.
