Apple and Pear mincemeat

Does anyone have a recipe - ideally with no alcohol as would like to be able to feed to children. Many thanks.

I’ve never even thought about that, but what a good idea!

With a bit of research I’ve come up with one by Hugh FW and have always enjoyed other recipes of his. You could easily leave out the booze…?Maybe play around with less ginger?….

(Normally I have a jar of shop bought mincemeat and mix it 50:50 with stewed apple so it’s not so rich)

I would imagine any apple mincemeat recipe that is cooked before bottling could be used and simply replace some of the apple with pear.
