Having just finished making up a batch of Jamie Oliver's Thai Green Curry paste I was wondering if any Grapes have any favourite Thai recipes they'd be willing to share?

Also, which of the ingredients do you grow? I'm growing my own Chillies, Garlic & Spring Onions so far. I might try growing my own Coriander from seed, if I buy pots I end up cropping a whole one every time I use it! What about Ginger & Lemon Grass, are they worth the effort? Is it possible to grow Limes for culinary use in the South of England?
There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

I grow lemon grass - grew it from seed a couple of years ago. Managed to kill it last winter as I thought it would be OK in the greenhouse. This winter I've got some in a pot in the conservatory (next to the lemon and lime trees!) but the stems aren't thick enough to use yet. If things go to plan, I'll repot it in the spring and be able to use it by the summer (fingers crossed). Love Thai food too but my faves are at a local restaurant mainly although I do make a mean Thai crab cake which I make in bulk and freeze for future use.

Oh yes and you can grow limes too, have about 6 on my plant at the moment on a plant that lives outside all summer and inside during the winter.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
