Hoping for some sunshine instead of more rain to bbq a whole chicken, will harvest some salad to have and do some new potatoes or couscous.

Turned 3kg of tomatoes, a bit of thyme, most of a basil plant and some supermarket stuff into soup. The fridge was getting full

Today the rest of the hotdogs, with pasta, mushroom, courgettes and some Stilton stirred in.

For today: roast chicken and the usual veg, strawberries for afters.

Salmon, sweetcorn and pea risotto today. Last week Mr GF said it was his favourite meal.

Hopefully, strawberries and cream.

OH has decided tomorrow will be better weatherwise for whole chicken cooking ,so tonight it's still a bbq but skewers instead.

Leftovers from yesterday (roast chicken plus veg), more strawberries (cream for Mr Snoop) and a bottle of wine seeing as it's the weekend.

Had a not very nice throw out kebab last night Pizza tonight.

Homemade mushroom soup tonight with a dish of parmesan and bread and butter.

Using some of the roast chicken from last night, not sure how yet.

Avocado pear baked with blue cheese and salad. Grapes for afters.

I think I'll take some cooked chicken out of the freezer and make some pastry and some white sauce. Et voilà......chicken pie. Looking at the rather dismal Autumnal weather I think we'll have it with mashed potato, broccoli, carrots and gravy.
