As we have lots of odd bits and pieces of veg in the fridge, tonight will be a beef snd veg stirfry

The rest of the pineapple for pud.

Minestrone tortellini soup this evening.

Mashed potatoes, hake, peas, carrots and corn.
Mince pies and cream.

Cod, potatoes, butterbeans and kale in a tomato sauce.

earlier I had a dish of peaches, mango and greek yoghurt.

Right, no being swayed by Mr Snoop's wants and not wants now the new year has started.

The pea and leek curry with chickpea biryani we should have had days ago. And yes, pineapple for afters.

I’m making a starter of a smoked salmon dome stuffed with philli cheese and prawns.
A simple steak, chips and green beans for the main course followed by fresh pineapple and ice cream with a slice of almond cake.

It’s traditional up here to have steak pie on New Year’s Day, so we are having leg of lamb!😃

More of the chicken that I cooked yesterday but with garlic bread and salads today.

Yoghurt for Mr GF and more cheese and biscuits for me.

I'll then strip the last of the meat off the chicken and cook the carcass in the slow cooker to make chicken stock for the freezer.

I think I'll roast a chicken. We'll have it with roasted parsnips, mashed potatoes, cauliflower cheese, carrots, green beans and gravy.

Duck, roast pots and parsnips plus other veg. Mince pies and brandy cream.

Edit: nearly all change. Lamb's liver stroganoff, mince pies and brandy cream.

Lamb chops, mashed spuds with celeriac and red cabbage.
Rhubarb crumble and icecream for pud

Tonight pea, sweetcorn, and salmon risotto. (Risotto is still Mr GF's favourite meal).

Strawberries and cream for Mr GF.

Last of the Christmas pudding for me.
