  • The choice was homemade pizza or cauliflower ( and veg ) cheese
We’ve gone for the latter as there are still loads of veggies needing eating up.

        • Paella my way with chicken, black pudding and assorted veg.

Going to try my hand at speculaas biscuits. No moulds so I'll just cut rectangles. It's the taste that counts!

              • For tonight I've decided on sweetcorn, pea, chicken and tarragon risotto, made with leftover chicken and chicken stock from the chicken earlier in the week.

Strawberries and cream for Mr GF. (The Strawberries jumped into my basket when I went to get my brother in law some bits yesterday).

For me either cheese and biscuits OR Christmas pudding or mince pie and brandy cream.

                • I’m making a steak and onion casserole/ stew for tomorrow and it’s cooking nicely in the oven.
I may put some on one side for tonight if it’s ready in time…plus some green beans to go with the gratin.

Rice pudding with stewed apple and blackcurrants for pud

                  • Last night the Throw Out didn't arrive - I daren't tell you the rubbish we consumed instead!

I've made lots of cheese and onion flan, so well have that with salad and a few chips.

                    • The casserole isn’t quite ready, so it’s breaded chicken breast instead. Yum.

I do like making soup, I’m thinking tomorrow I’ll make spiced swede and carrot.

You wouldn't be jealous GF - wheat crunchies, cheese and onion crisps, dry roasted peanuts and about 10 chocolates that I had forgotten to open from my Advent Calendar!

                            • Bolognese with rice.
Cheese and crackers with a glass of red.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
