Roast turkey, proper chips and pickles, sliced bread with loads of butter so it runs down your chin when you make a buttie

We had gammon yesterday which we weren't overly impressed with. I think the rest of it can be chopped up and frozen to use in pea and ham soup or chicken and ham pie.

I gave Mr GF a few choices this morning. He says he fancies somthing completely non- Christmassy. He's picked scampi, chips and peas.

Leftover Christmas pudding and brandy cream.

An open buffet for us…all day!
Xmas Dinner left overs to have in a butty or with a salad - or hot.

I’ve made a clementine trifle for pud.

Sausage rolls and assorted salads, maybe some baked pots depending on how hungry Mr Snoop is.

Edited: pineapple for pud. It's smelling very ripe.

Re-edited: Mr Snoop is campaigning for sausage risotto. Easier for me, so I'm not unhappy.

My goose is cooked . Done the potatoes and gravy as well. Should make tomorrow a bit less fraught.

Tonight is left over chilli which we didn't get a chance to eat on Saturday because Nettie's mum needed help and dinner was cancelled.

Sausage rolls, baked pots and salad. Pineapple for afters. Mince pies and brandy cream later on, I imagine. Bottle of fizz tonight.

Today, I'm thinking omelette, jacket potato and salad.

Later, a cheese and wine tasting with some of the cheese and wine we got for Christmas.

I/ we always used to work Xmas Eve until late…then needed something a bit special but simple to welcome in Xmas .
So traditionally we have steak and mushroom baguettes with a creamy sauce…and a bottle of fizz/ red
    Xmas cake for pud.
But this year I have splashed out and bought four individual tiny ‘logs’ of different flavours from a specialist patisserie. Well…tis Xmas…why not eh?

Gésiers are nicer than they sound. My dad used to love them.

Mr Snoop ordered pasta last night, so it's pea and leek curry tonight, not with the chickpea biriyani but baked onion bhajis and naan. Pineapple for afters.
(Got to get some fruit and veg in while the going's good, especially as it was pizza for lunch.)

If I've got time, speculoos biscuits as well this afternoon.

I think we'll have scampi, potato waffles and a salad, with avocado but without gesiers.

Nicos, I've never, knowingly, had gesiers, although Mr GF might have, as his favourite method of ordering in a non english speaking restaurant is to look what everybody else is having and then say he'll have the same as something he likes the look of on another table. This has lead to a couple of "interesting" choices.🤣🤣🤣

I’m really fancying a tumble salad…so ( for those of a delicate disposition- cover your ears…) it’s going to be main guest ingredients of gesiers…. with avacado and pecans.
