Off up the valley for supper tonight. So no idea except there's half a lemon panettone left and it looks like that will be for afters.

Surprisingly, the strawberries yesterday were really nice ..... Evidently from Belgium. As Mr GF hadn't seen them sneak into my basket, he was delighted.

Tonight either tomato soup or bacon, egg and tomato. Some of Mr GF's favourite bacon also sneaked in my basket. I'll let Mr GF choose.

Tonight fish fingers, potato waffles, peas and sweetcorn with parsley sauce.

Strawberries and cream. (A pack that looks ripe just happened to jump into my basket in Sainsburys.)

Not the best naans I've ever made, Bren, but I'll put the blame on my starter. Not as active as I'd hoped. I'll try the recipe you recommended next time.

For us for supper, another sausage stew. A proper dinner on a plate, as Mr Snoop would put it, and not that much work in the pressure cooker. And there will be enough for a meal to go in the freezer too. Phew.

No pud. The tiramisu got finished at lunch. I think we need to call a pud break, but there's another friend coming on Wednesday and I've got all the whites from the tiramisu... roulade is looking likely.

Thanks, Bren In Pots. I knew you'd have the answer! Those breadsticks look fantastic. I'm a big fan of Elaine and her Foodbod site. Can't think why I didn't think to look there. I like the way she doesn't expect everything to be absolutely perfect, like the way she talks about those breadsticks. Will definitely make some of those soon.
