Cauliflower curry with lemon rice, the last of the tiramisu for afters.

We've resisted having it for breakfast, Nicos. Even I think that would be too much!

My new sourdough starter is extremely active, but while we were out yesterday Mr Snoop bought bread. And not just one loaf but four, with the extras going in the freezer. So now there's no room for anything else whatsoever. So, what to do with my starter? Anyone got a recommended recipe for sourdough flatbreads/naans to go with the curry?

I think I'll make a pie today. Maybe chicken and mushroom. We'll have it with mashed potatoes, brocolli, carrots and gravy.

Not sure what's for dessert yet.

Green salad with blue cheese and walnuts, pasta with a courgette and cream sauce, tiramisu.

You know when you see recipes and they say for x number of people and you think 'yeah right'? Well that recipe says twelve. And it's true. Twelve generous portions at that.

With the weather I didn't fancy going to shops, so for dinner it'll be a big pot of minestrone. An opportunity to use up a lot of the veggies in the fridge.

I had a chicken kebab last night. I had forgotten how awful it was last time, but remembered when I threw it away. Wish I'd shared Himself's fish and chips!

Home made burgers and wedges tonight.

Last night's fish and chips were yummy. I had to queue outside the door again, a very good natured queue I must say with lots of laughter.

As I've got a big box of mushrooms in the fridge, I'm going to make mushroom soup for tonight, with some of my homemade chicken stock and lots of tarragon. Crusty bread and butter and parmesan.

Mince pies and a dob of cream.
