I used to love them at school dinners, and go back for seconds, and even thirds, but nowadays, No. Maybe I should try them in wine though.

Not a fan Snoop Puss - I'm afraid I associate them with my late Outlaws and constipation

No cooking for me tonight as we're off up the valley for supper. Mind you, I'm on big lunch duty tomorrow.

A quick consultation: I like prunes in wine but not sure how appealing others would find them. Any views?

Funnily enough….green bit like spinach but less strong.

Pudding has changed again. We're now having posset. I've never made it before but came across a recipe for tangerine posset. I made it with clementines instead. It tastes lovely. I've put it in the fridge now so I just hope that it sets.

As I'm making chicken pies and cottage pies for the freezer, it will probably be naked beans on toast! I do have some treacle puddings, (shop bought) and a tin of custard so instant dessert too

Prawn and hard boiled egg salad with, hopefully, a perfectly ripe avocado, and Marie Rose sauce. A few beer battered onion rings. Bread and butter.

I'm still fancying pineapple upside down pudding, but as I've no pineapple, but have got oranges that need using, I think we might have orange upside down pudding.

I ended up baking the salmon with lemon and capers. We had it with a creamy pesto sauce, potatoes dauphinois, PSB, and carrots.

    Rice pud for dessert.
