I've eventually decided on haggis, mashed potato and swede, carrots and French beans with a creamy gravy. ( For some weird reason autocorrect decided I was having French beatles!!).

Yoghurt for Mr GF and crackers and blue cheese for me.

Left over fish pie tonight, plus fresh fruit and a chunk of fruitcake with Greek yogurt.

She sounds delightful. I imagine there must be quite an in-depth selection process to choose suitably calm and intelligent parents for those puppies?

Lasagne (not boring ) and salad. Apple Pie and cream (we were too full yesterday so had a magnum instead).

Must be a clever and lovely-natured dog, Mark. Bet she loves scrambled eggs too.

Misir wat with the last of the chicken as fake doro wat. Hot spicy food, just what the weather conditions call for.

What breed of dog is Bailey? I’m going to have a guess at Labrador?

Cottage Pie with cabbage and two Cottage Pies for the freezer. Not sure we'll have a pudding, I've just had chocolate biscuits with a cup of tea

I've been to the shops so plans have changed.

    Pea, sweetcorn, and salmon risotto.

Yoghurt type dessert for Mr GF. Cheese and crackers for me.

Scrambled eggs on/under/beside toast (depending on whether Bailey the dog gets under my feet).

More of yesterday's roast chicken. I'll add some cabbage to the mix. I couldn't bring myself to make the Bakewell pud yesterday, as we're supposedly cutting back after the festive excesses. But I really ought to.

Plus chocolate and coconut cookies for gifts.

Unless I pick up anything more exciting while I'm out it will be scampi, out of the freezer, potato waffles, homemade tartare sauce and salad.
