Cooking Tonight #5

Corned beef pie this evening with sprouts, carrots and some french beans from the freezer.

The other half of yesterdays pie with mushy peas and gravy.

As we're taking my brother-in-law for an out patient appointment at the hospital late this afternoon I think we might call at the fish shop on the way home and get something to take away for a change.

Not sure, but we’re going for a grory hop later so I’ll see what grabs me then…..

Roast Gammon with cauliflower and broccoli cheese, green beans and roast potatoes.

Turned out we had fish n’chips ( supermarket ones). Plus baked beans and fried eggs.
Then a packet of rolos which I brought over here from our last visit to the uk.
Yeh…it was that sort of day for comfort food

A pastie for lunch then this evening soup with toasted cheese sandwiches.

Breaded hake with a load of veg.

Himself just wants a sandwich so I'll have a chicken tikka wrap and salad.

We never got takeaway fish and chips yesterday as when we left the hospital the traffic was horrendous and I thought "Oh, I'll go later" but then later I looked at the weather and changed my mind about going outdoors again. We had tomato soup with bread and butter instead.

I've made fish pie for tonight. We'll have it with carrots and peas.

Lentil soup. It should be salad, but the weather says otherwise.

I'll make extra for the freezer too.
