Spicy turkey burgers and a heap of salad. The last of the grapes for afters and a persimmon for Mr Snoop. I'll be glad to see the grapes finished. There's a fresh pineapple keeps shouting at me down in the basement... Smells gorgeous but the grapes needed finishing first.

I did toy with the idea of making chicken goujons and having salad and garlic bread with them but I think I've settled for comfort food again while it is still so cold.

Haggis, mashed potato and swede, carrots, sprouts and creamy gravy.

I've got as far as chicken something as I've taken boneless, skinless chicken thighs out of the freezer.

At the moment I'm thinking either breaded chicken goujons OR chicken and mushroom pie OR chicken and mushrooms in white sauce. I'm just not really getting inspiration yet.

A Jamie Oliver style 'paella': rice with chicken and chorizo. Apple and mincemeat crumble for afters.

We need bread too.
