Tomato soup with toasted cheese sandwiches.

Following the soup and bread we had a small curry from the freezer - (Butternut squash and chickpea)

followed by a pomello

Tumble salad tonight featuring pilchards

I think I’ll make that trifle using rhubarb .

Lamb curry with pilau rice and garlic naan. Don't tell Himself, it's a surprise!

Trying Brens menu...Tomato soup with lots of black pepper and toasted cheese sandwiches.

Aubergine, chickpea and chard curry with rice, sourdough naans, yoghurt dip and chutney.

I’m fancying another tumble salad, not sure what will be in it but I do have some eggs needing eating. Maybe an omlette on the side?

The rest of the trifle for pud. I put in a couple of handfuls of blackcurrants too and it was a lovely flavour burst!

Last night was bacon, egg and tomato followed by strawberries and cream.

Tonight I think pan fried Sea bass, jacket sweet potato, sweetcorn and peas.

More strawberries and cream if I can get some nice strawberries.

Something light tonight, I fancy boiled eggs and we have some shop bought egg custards for after.

Still can't quite believe himself ate all the curry and enjoyed it. He did though draw the line at the naan with a Peter Kay moment of naan? bread? naan bread?

Tonight soup. I'm going to have a go at a "slightly" spicy sweet potato and peanut butter soup with a dish of parmesan and bread and butter.

Yet more strawberries and cream😋😋

Smoked trout and philli on toasts to start followed by mushroom risotto and a side salad.
Black cherries for pud.

Sweet potatoes, garlic cream cheese, homemade coleslaw and lettuce for lunch.

Faggots, mashed potatoes with mushy peas this evening.

Stuffed crust pizza from the freezer, I'm too tired to cook!
