I'm now thinking of using my harvested broad beans and leftover other beans(black eyed) and making a puttenesca sauce with some shredded own spinach and chard thrown in and maybe a small handful of pasta (or serve with crusty bread) and salad
I was fancying curry tonight after a hard day helping with laying the patio…but OH beat me to the freezer and defrosted some mussels in a creamy tomato sauce we had a month ago. Thank goodness for left overs
so it’s pasta with mussels in a creamy tomato sauce served with a side salad , followed by diet trifle and custard/ yog.

I described today's lunch as "three courgettes with things". The 'things' were the usual Mediterranean suspects plus chicken and white beans. It was better than it might have been. And the volume of courgette was well and truly hidden. The builders are clearly expert at growing courgettes...
