We have loads of french beans needing eating, so I’m thinking maybe a hot ‘salad’ using beans, gnocchi, lardons, mushrooms with a poached egg or two on top.
Nicos have you tried Madhur Jaffrey’s Green bean curry. Its amongst my favourite curries plus it uses up a fair amount of beans.

                • Thanks, Bren. I've got that in a book and I keep looking at it but never make it. Will give it a go soon.

As for us, we ended up with fajitas. Mr Snoop wasn't keen on fish... He'll have to have it tomorrow, mind.

                  • I like the sound of that recipe Bren.
I must give it a try.

                    • Lunch: fish, baked toms, broccoli and green beans that Mr Snoop didn't fancy yesterday. Strawberries for afters.

Trying to go back to lunch being our main meal, as I sleep so much better. So spiced carrot and apple soup for supper.

                        • Not quite sure, but I’m defrosting ‘fresh’ tuna steaks and we have a mountain of french beans. Probably jacket spuds….

Quite fancy that curry Bren but maybe not with the Tuna.

Melon for pud. Looks like the season is coming to an end though.
